Daily Practice: September 1, 2025 Through the Blinds

Inspired by Saul Leiter - Looking through

I have recently decided it was time to spend some time organizing by photography book shelf. In the process I began to restudy the images of Saul Leiter - kind of photographic hero of mine. He has so many that look through something to focus on the subject. He also masterfully used negative space.

So when I walked upstairs to open the window and blinds, I saw this scene and knew that this would have to be my subject for the mornings Daily Practice.
