The Story of the Salton Sea

The story of water in southern California is long, sordid, and bound by the tense drama that unfolds when growth and precious resource collide. Mono Lake is one well known casualty of southern California's thirst for water. Though lesser known, the Salton Sea's story is perhaps even more dramatic.
